The Purpose of VBS

"We will help the children of our community know the joy of God's love through Jesus." ~ Purpose Statement of FMC’s Vacation Bible School 2026

Many of us think of our childhood as a safer time, and we remember a world that felt safe enough to explore - riding our bikes for miles, wandering in the woods, and building forts. 

Next week we will be blessed to share that perspective with the 100+ children attending our Vacation Bible School. Our theme is “Rainforest Falls,” and we’ll be exploring the Nature of God. 

·       God is Creator

·       God is All-Knowing

·       God is our Safe Place

·       God is Love

·       God is Forever

Understanding the nature of God will help the children we encounter next week understand that even if the world seems crazy, everything is going to be OK. Why? Because God is in control of His wonderful creation, and as we trust in His loving nature, the world becomes a beautiful place.
